There is nothing like a big juicy burger just off the grill. It seems as though there is always someone in my family following the Paleo lifestyle. I, personally, have issues with grains so the Paleo way of eating suits me just fine. My Paleo Chili Burgers spice up the everyday and satisfy the tastebuds. When you are purchasing your ingredients it is best to choose organic or local. Try not to get beef that is too lean. Human bodies need fat to function, remember fat does not make you fat (more on that in future posts).
Paleo Chili Burgers
1#ground beef
1/4 chopped onion
1/4 c greecn chilis, canned or roasted
1/2 tsp cayenne
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste-always use sea salt
Place ground beef in a mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients. Take off your rings and mix with your hands. When all ingredients are well mixed form into a large ball, divide evenly into 4 parts.
Form into patties, and cook on grill to desired doneness. Serve with my Sweet Potato Salad and enjoy.
